Recently, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Science and Technology and other departments jointly issued a document and announced the (25^th batch) List of National Enterprise Technology Centers, totaling 111 technology centers and 7 branch centers. Shimge Pump Industry Group Co., Ltd. was listed one of the national enterprise technology centers.

The identification of national enterprise technology center is conducted once a year and the identification conditions are extremely strict. It stipulates that enterprises must keep in a leading position in the industry in terms of economic benefits, technological level and innovation abilities. It requires the technology center to have a sound organizational system, well-defined development goals and stable industry-university-research cooperation mechanism. 

Shimge Technology Center was established in 1984. In recent three years, it has led the formulation of 10 industrial standards and participated in 6 industrial standards. It has obtained 307 national patents, including 10 invention patents, 1 EU appearance patent and 2 PCT patents. In recent three years, it has published more than 30 papers in domestic and foreign authoritative journals. The scientific and technological achievements of the Center have won 6 prizes, including national, provincial and ministerial-level first prize, second prize and third prize, with remarkable innovation achievements.

Shimge invests more than 3% of its annual sales in technology R&D and the proportion of investment continues to increase every year.

Shimge has established special R&D centers in Germany, Poland and Hangzhou (China); it has cooperated with Zhejiang University, Jiangsu University and other top universities in this field to jointly build the research laboratories and set up postdoctoral workstations committed to the research and development of high-efficiency hydraulic performance. Through the experiment and cultivation of innovation projects, it has created an industry-leading innovative R&D team.

After years of exploration and development, Shimge Technology Center has gradually grown into the core of the enterprise technological innovation system, become the backbone of driving the industry’s technological progress, and become the solid foundation for enterprise profitability and sustainable development. At present, the area of the extended experimental center and scientific research site for testing system platforms has reached more than 3,000 square meters.

At the same time, the Technology Center has also gradually introduced the industry high-precision scientific research equipment and established two major platforms — the detection center and the testing center. It has 16 project laboratories and 4 test laboratories. At present, there are 924 detecting instruments and sets of equipment in the Center, with a total investment of more than RMB 80 million.

The experimental center has passed the CNAS certification and established long-term cooperative relations with TUV and CSA. It has become an eyewitness laboratory for GS certification, CSA certification and Italian IG certification and testing, which has laid a solid foundation for energy saving and high reliability of Shimge products.

Shimge Technology Center has been identified as the “National Enterprise Technology Center”, which is recognition of Shimge’s R&D capabilities and innovation capabilities at the national level! It will further strengthen Shimge’s leading position in innovation, guide and support Shimge to enhance the capacity for technological innovation, improve the market-oriented mechanism for technological innovation, and make more outstanding contributions to the pump industry.
